Remaining Octoberfest LOAD

Today is the last day for Personal Scrappers: Octoberfest L.O.A.D.  I uploaded all my photos for this month and I am so excited that I was able to get so many pages done!  I put together mostly sports and last years Halloween pictures!  It was a double incentive to this month, I have had the sports pictures piling up and I sometimes need a push to get them on page.  My next challenge is getting all these layouts (and a few others) into albums!

Now onto my remaining layouts:

A L.O.A.D is Lay Out A Day.  There are daily challenges- which gives you tons of inspiration!   I unfortunately have not been able to do one a day but here are some layouts I have done so far.
If you need inspiration- join us!  It is free to join the forums and if you love the kits the pricing is sooo reasonable (and stuffed with the latest and greatest products)
I am just now getting around to scrapping my Halloween photos from last year:

I have a few more layouts to post- stay tuned :)

Remaining Crop layouts

I was able to get two more layouts done over the weekend.  No scrapping this week- it has been pretty busy running around with the kids and preparing for 2 workshops!

The first layout was created under the TREES challenge on the PersonalScrapper.com forum.  September's kit had PP filled with trees and felt tree embellies so it was the perfect opportunity to break open the kit:

This next layout was created under the Pens, Paink & Ink oh my! challenge.
I doodled around the frame and painted shimmer ink onto all the flowers around the page:

Back To School On-Line Crop

A Back to School On-Line Crop is going on at http://www.personalscrapper.com/.  You do not need to be a member to join, but you do need to register into the forums.  I love these on-line crops they always come up when I am feeling the creative process going into a burn-out.  It is just the right amount of push (inspiration) to get me going again and i don't have to pack a single thing.  I all happens at home when the kids are sleeping!
This layout was inspired by the 9 squares challenge.  Well I went a little overboard and put a few more in but without the challenge- my layout would have looked a little differently.  This layout was also inspired by a sketch released at Sketch Support.  I am a big fan of double page layouts and this is my go to place for double page sketches!  I used the PersonalScrapper May 2011 Kit using Basic Grey PP.  The circle and lable punchs are from stampin up.  The chipboard circles are Scenic Route and unknown white and blue buttons.
My next layout was based on the Summer Recap Challenge!  I put together a quick single page layout using PersonalScrapper's June 2011 Kit featuring Jillibean Watermelon Gazpacho Soup line:

Pool Party was created under the gallery scraplift challenge: I lifted Kelly's (My3Boys) layout Backyard beauties.  Her layout was stretched from a 1 page to 2 pages.  All materials are from the Personal Scrapper June 2011 Kit featuring Jillibean's Watermelon Gazpacho Soup.

I based this layout on the Use PersonalScrapper Kits only challenge- that wasn't too difficult since most of my layouts used personalscrapper kits.  I used the August 2011 Kit featuring My Mind's Eye Lime Twisht Fly a Kit collection.  I made the banner using stampin' up new banner punch.

We had the opportunity to do one of the Summer Camp challenges.  Since I had not gotten around to it yet- I chose Erica's July 4th Challenge.  I used the June 2011 Kit again.  I am getting a lot of mileage on this kit and still have plenty of paper left!

The last layout for today was based on the Alphabet Background Challenge:  The challenge was to create your own alphabet background so I pulled out a few sheets of stickers and made the strip of alphas going down the left side.  I used an old PS add-on kit featuring Papertrunk's Wrangler kit.

I hope to get a few more layouts and projects done this weekend!   Till then Happy Friday!!!

Summer Challenge: Rainy Day

This week is my week to host a challenge for our Summer Camp at PersonalScrapper.com.
Not all days are sunny at camp, so my challenge was to create a layout on a rainy day activity.  Here is my layout I created for this challenge:

I would love to see what others do....

52 Week Challenges

Wow it is the first week of August which means this year is half way over!  I have been slowly catching up on my 52 weeks challenges.  I have 5 more layouts to share with you and a special Taylor Swift ticket!
For the summer, Erica at Personal Scrapper let us members post a different challenge each week.  This layout was put together under the DIRTY category.  Sand and dirt are sort of the same right?  The cute crab and sandcastle I acquired from my meet-up groups cricut summer swap.  I received some awesome images that I will put into use!  The pp and top journaling label is from Fancy Pants, the smaller journaling label is from Basic Grey.  Thickers (are glittered) from AC

A closer look at the letters:

This next challenge was from week 5 (I am working out of order) it was to use different borders:
PP used is Jillibean's Watermelon Garpacho. Punched borders are Stampin' Up punches, Lettering: AC Thickers, Flowers are from petaloo, Larger butterfly is from Stampin' Up, small punch is Martha Stewart, Twine is from The Twinery.  I ordered the sampler pack and LOVE it!!
Close up of Butterfly:

The next challenge was Flower Child:  Here is my layout FULL of flowers:
I used Jillibean PP again, the striped pp is from MME, all rhinestones are from Kaisercraft, WE & you is from doodlebug designs, Felt arrow & Chipboard hearts are also from Maya Road.  Journaling card and Lace border punch is from Martha Stewart.  I don't remember where the buttons & ribbon are from :(

The next challenge is also a summer camp challenge involving FOOD! For the end of the year party my dd's troop had a Chocolate Factory party.  They created all sorts of chocolatey treats (and mess) I used Echo Park's Summertime line for this layout.  The "golden ticket" was created using a Tim Holtz embossing folder.

This last layout was created under the WATER summer camp challenge- PP is from Fancy Pants

And lastly, My dd turned 9 in July and she received a ticket to see Taylor Swift!  Since I did not have the tickets in my hand I created the ticket below!  Do you think she LOVED her girft?

52 Weeks of Challenges at PersonalScrapper.com!!

I have seriously been slacking on the 52 weeks of challenges- so I decided to do a few to catch up this weekend and fulfill the summer camp challenges (Love 2 for 1's)
This layout was based on the Memories Challenge- I found this picture of my dd at 6months old that I want to scrap:
Layout was put together using the echo park playground pp, thickers, kaisercrafts rhinestones and fiskars punch (ribbon was in my stash-I don't remember where it is from)

Next layout was based on Debbie's Camp Challenge she listed 20 items that the layouts must have and I was able to have 19 items:
Most items are from Stampin' Up except for the Corrugated alphas: Jillibean, sequin ribbon: Maya Road

Next layout is based on Debbies Camp challenge: Red for sunburn, bumps for mosquito bites, numbers for SPF rating:

Here is my layout:
Pattern Paper:Fancy Pants, Paper: Bazzil, Lettering: Scenic Route, Flowers & Bling: Bo Bunny, Date label: basic grey, embossing folder: cuttlebug

Summertime Challege: Create a layout based on what you like to do in the Summer- My favorite place to go is the Beach, my kids love to Boogie Board:

Layout based on a sketch from:Sketch Support, pattern paper: fancy pants (Personal scrapper July 11 kit)
Challenge: use one of Lisa's sketch.
I used Lisa's July sketch with PersonalScrappers July kit (layout was done in less than 30 minutes!!!)
Sketch:

I will be spending the next couple of days catching up on the rest!!!  Stay tuned or join in on the fun of PersonalScrappers.com 52 Weeks of Challenges.

Cricut Water Bottle

Two days in a row I am blogging!  Whoo hoo!  Will there be three- hmmm we'll see (ok that was not meant to rhyme, it just came out that way!)
I wanted to post a cute little gift I put together for my goddaughter's birthday last weekend.  It was using the cricut and adhesive vinyl (I bought this pack from graphix more than 5 years ago and it just sat in my stash)  My goddaughter loooves Soccer so I decided to make her a personalized water bottle, I used the soccer mania cartridge with my gypsy and cut it with my new cricut expression 2.  I really have been using it alot lately!  (I have to justify the splurge for it : )

That is all I have for today- lets see what I can come up with for tomorrow :)

Celebrations!!

I decided to post a few more layouts that I put together with my personalscrapper kits :)
This is the May kit featuring Basic Grey Papers and my son's birthday!!!!  I added twine from the Twinery!  I ordered a great sampler pack and can see it going quickly.

This layout incorporated the May Add-on kit which featuredMy Mind's eye Boy Hip Hip Hooray line along with some thickers I had in my stash and more twine!

As for the next layout- it is not Birthday related but mothers day related featuring another MME collection: Stella Rose! I love the patterns!

As as a cute little gift to all the girls bridging in my daughters Girl Scout Troop- I made these little paper dolls from the Paper Doll Dress UP cartridge:

Well I will be working on more projects and layouts over the weekend so check back next week or check out my Stampin' Up blog which I will updating in the next few minutes (http://www.stampinwithlydia.blogspot.com/)!
