New Sketch site (at least for me)

Sometimes when I get on the internet to browse for some inspiration, I find my self gravitating more and more to the sketch sites.
This week I discovered Creative Scrappers.   Their sketches seem to be right up my alley. This is last weeks sketch:

Stampin' Up Cards using mini-occasions & Sale-A-Brations Items

These first batch of cards are thank you cards created for all my customers.  These cheery cards are  for each order I have received and delivered.
I used Sahara Sand Cardstock for the base, pacific point cardstock and ice cream parlor patterned paper and quick accents.  The ice cream parlor pp and quick accents (yellow flower sticker) is one item from Sale-a-bration catalog. The ribbon and small buttons are a 2nd item in the Sale-a-bration catalog.  I also included a big button from the Spring Mini-Occasions Catalog.  The Thank you stamp is from Curly Cute set in the big catalogue.
My next set of cards were created for a co-workers birthday this week:
I forgot to take a picture of the inside, it is a gift card holder.
I love the new Take A Spin stamp set currently being sold in the mini occasions catalog.  There are 4 stamps.  I used tempting turquoise cardstock base with red real red and tangerine tango.

This card was created using some old scrap papers I had left from Imaginise's Birthday line.  I used the create a cupcake stamp with coordinating punch..  It is too stinkin' cute!

PersonalScrapper Crops Rock!!

I love personalscrapper crops.  They give me just enough of a push to get my pictures, paper and tools out and put some layouts together with each challenge.
Challenge: Valentine
While these cards are not my originals (we made them during Stamp Canp at Judy's)
They are soo cute.  I love the little girl and I love the skunk (inside states I stink your sweet)
These cards were given to my daughter, hubby and son and were made with all Stampin' Up Supplies.

Challenge: Combine 3 PS kits
I used Jan 08, Jan 10 & Jan 11 Kits.  This is probably my least favorite that I made during the crop but the pictures are down and a story was told!

Challenge: Use up a PS Kit
I used up the remaining scraps I had left of this Kit (Jan 08).

Challenge: Use at least 10 buttons on a layout
All the buttons are in my rainbow :)

Challenge: Scraplift
I lifted Erica and Addies Crop Prize layout.  (I love these papers, these were given to the participants as a prize from last months crop)
Pictures in the layout were taken by my daughter.

Challenge: Animals
yes that is my dog smelling (maybe eating) dandelions

Challenge: Sketch it
Create a layout using Lisa's crop sketch.  I just love Lisa's sketch adn used the new Bella Blvd & Echo Park Little girl pp.

Challenge: Misc
This layout did not fit under any of the challenges.  I just wanted to get these pics scrap (and a reason to use the papers)
Challenge: Winter
Create a layout about your winter or some of your activities.

Challenge: Dusty Tools
I used stamps (from Stampin Up) & a die cut ric rac for this page.

Challenge: Favorite Things

This is one of the valentines cards that my daughter put together for her class for Valentines Day.
(Not bad for an 8 year old!)

Don't forget you have until March 31st to take advantage of Stampin' Up's SALE-A-BRATION.  For every 50 dollars you spend you can pick out a free item from the Sale A Bration catalogue.  These items you cannot buy and they are super cute.  I just ordered a ton of stuff and can't wait to play.

If you host a workshop during Sale-A-Bration and make at least $300 in sales you not only earn free hostess sets but you also earn free sale-a-bration items!

I have a workshop scheduled at my home on March 5th!  I plan to do one layout and a card or 2.  If you would like to stop by and join us or schedule your own workshop please contact me at: Lydia_Jimenez@hotmail.com

MIA Again?

Hello blog, I am so sorry to neglect you. Has it really been over a month since I updated you? I have been super busy trying to get my Michaels sdu classes up AND getting some workshops in for Stampin' Up. Well not too much luck for sdu BUT I was able to demo my first stamping' up workshop! I had a great time, thank you Judy (my upline) for letting me to do the scrapbooking portion and Judy did the card making portion. It was fun. The hostess was reallly nice and her friends and family were a fun crowd! Now that I have a workshop under my belt I am ready to book some more....
Other projects I have done in this month, my dd's stage for her brownie meeting. We used my cricut and built a city with buildings, trees and pretty pp for the ground. I Wish I took a picture of it. Oh well....
I also participated in another personal scrapper crop this week. I will post pictures tomorrow! I love ps crops, the challenges really get me to scrap things that I never thought to scrap or use items that probably wouldn't without that extra encouragement.
Tomorrow I will also start planning a monthly stamp camp I have been toying with a lot of ideas in my head- time to get them out of my head and onto some paper and plan, plan, plan. I am going to try to put aT least three months of camps together so I have some options for workshops also.
Hmmm kiddies are in bed I think my scrap booking table is calling me!!
I promise not to let too much time pass without an update.
