I think I found my mojo!!!

For the last few months I have been in a FUNK!  I would sit at my scrapbook table and reorganize, pull out sheets of paper, pull out pictures and find it just wasnt' working for me.  So I will put it all away and start browsing on my ipad for some inspiration and find an hour has passed and I have to go attend to my motherly duties!
This weekend I sat down and created quite a few layouts within a 3 hr period!!  I am BACK!

Mowing the lawn:  I have had these pictures on my desk since last summer, but didn't know what to do with them.  While reorganizing- I came across some of my Scenic Route pp (oh how I miss Scenic Route)  and pulled this all together rather quickly.

Music to our ears:  Pictures are a few years old!  I dusted off  my E2 to create the main title and musical notes for this 2 page.  The pattern paper is Echo Park (I believe off the record line).  With the addition of some buttons and kaisercraft pearls it came together pretty quickly.
My daughter is now practicing for her 4th grade spring concert.

Mother's Day 2011: With Mothers Day coming up, I wanted to document our day from last year.  I love the crown my daughter made for me.  Who doesn't want to be Queen for a day :)
Pattern Paper and sentiment stickers are from the My Minds Eye Stella & Rose Gertie line.  M sticker is from CTMH.  Felt layered flowers are from American Crafts.  I also used Stampin Up heart to heart punch.

I have a few more layouts to upload but must help the kids get into bed (since I am on the computer they are taking advantage by walking around the house and doing everything but get into bed!)

Good Night Everyone!

Happy New Year

It seems that I missed the whole holiday season on this blog!  Sorry!  I had a very busy life up until Christmas and then took a whole week off. It was a glorious week off, it was a week off from work, a week off from running the kids around from event to event and a week from doing workshops.  I loved it!  It was so refreshing to be able to stay home, clean my house at a leisurely pace, I didn't have to worry about being somewhere at a particular time, I was able spend time with the family-watching movies & playing board games.  We even went into the city to see the Rockefeller Plaza Tree, shopped at American Girl, Lego & Nintendo stores and finished our day trip with a show at the Radio City Music Hall...The Christmas Spectacular.  We had pretty decent seats and my kids were so excited.
I have not scrapped these photos or any holiday photos from this year- I was able to finish a few from last year during PersonalScrappers New Years Crop!
Erica, the owner from PersonalScrapper.com is great-she gives us a whole week to finish up 10 challenges and then extended it for a few more days.
Here is one layout for the enlarged photo challenge:

By the way the flower is cricut image that I received it from my meetup groups last cricut image swap.
I will try to post again this week with a few more layouts.
Until then, Adios amigos!

PersonalScrapper Crops Rock!!

I love personalscrapper crops.  They give me just enough of a push to get my pictures, paper and tools out and put some layouts together with each challenge.
Challenge: Valentine
While these cards are not my originals (we made them during Stamp Canp at Judy's)
They are soo cute.  I love the little girl and I love the skunk (inside states I stink your sweet)
These cards were given to my daughter, hubby and son and were made with all Stampin' Up Supplies.

Challenge: Combine 3 PS kits
I used Jan 08, Jan 10 & Jan 11 Kits.  This is probably my least favorite that I made during the crop but the pictures are down and a story was told!

Challenge: Use up a PS Kit
I used up the remaining scraps I had left of this Kit (Jan 08).

Challenge: Use at least 10 buttons on a layout
All the buttons are in my rainbow :)

Challenge: Scraplift
I lifted Erica and Addies Crop Prize layout.  (I love these papers, these were given to the participants as a prize from last months crop)
Pictures in the layout were taken by my daughter.

Challenge: Animals
yes that is my dog smelling (maybe eating) dandelions

Challenge: Sketch it
Create a layout using Lisa's crop sketch.  I just love Lisa's sketch adn used the new Bella Blvd & Echo Park Little girl pp.

Challenge: Misc
This layout did not fit under any of the challenges.  I just wanted to get these pics scrap (and a reason to use the papers)
Challenge: Winter
Create a layout about your winter or some of your activities.

Challenge: Dusty Tools
I used stamps (from Stampin Up) & a die cut ric rac for this page.

Challenge: Favorite Things

This is one of the valentines cards that my daughter put together for her class for Valentines Day.
(Not bad for an 8 year old!)

Don't forget you have until March 31st to take advantage of Stampin' Up's SALE-A-BRATION.  For every 50 dollars you spend you can pick out a free item from the Sale A Bration catalogue.  These items you cannot buy and they are super cute.  I just ordered a ton of stuff and can't wait to play.

If you host a workshop during Sale-A-Bration and make at least $300 in sales you not only earn free hostess sets but you also earn free sale-a-bration items!

I have a workshop scheduled at my home on March 5th!  I plan to do one layout and a card or 2.  If you would like to stop by and join us or schedule your own workshop please contact me at: Lydia_Jimenez@hotmail.com
